How we became who we are
Choosing a real estate agent to look after the sale of your home can be a stressful process. Agents will try their hardest to get your business, and promise you everything you want to hear and then can sometimes fail to deliver.
We at Ray White Frenchs Forest/Forestville and Terrey Hills want to change the way that people think about real estate agents and the real estate market. We are here to help you and assist you with the sale or purchase of one of the biggest investments you will ever make.
We want to be able to sell your property, we want to involve you in the process as much as possible, and help you understand the way things should work in the real estate industry. We want to be able to share with you why we love what we do, and our successes.
Shayne Hutton (Principal) opened his first Real Estate Agency in 1996, known as Shayne Hutton Real Estate. Shayne focused on the Terrey Hills and Duffys Forest area, the suburb he had grown up in. His ‘office’ was located at the top of the local service station, and as his business grew, there was the need to move location. Shayne Hutton Real Estate relocated to the front of the local Terrey Hill Shopping Centre. The business changed names to Peninsula Property and his business expanded and so did his share in the market place, becoming one of the leading agents in the area.
In 2002 Ray White Real Estate approached Shayne to become part of their business. Peninsula Property now became Ray White Terrey Hills, with it’s sister office opening in Frenchs Forest, on the corner of Forest Way & Warringah Road in 2003. (Known as Ray White Forestville)
In 2004 Ray White Forestville combined with the well established Ray White Frenchs Forest office to create a ‘super office’ known as Ray White Frenchs Forest/Forestville becoming the ‘gateway to the northern beaches’ in it’s landmark position.
